As of June we returned to in-room dining with limited seating and Covid-19 precautions still in place (masks, distancing, etc.). We are also serving takeout to those uncomfortable with in-room dining.
You can help feed people in need through financial contributions and donations of food. To make a tax-deductible financial contribution to A Meal and More, choose one of the following three options:

We employ a staff that is responsible for cooking the meals, washing dishes, ensuring security and a welcoming presence at the door, and overseeing the work of the volunteers that help serve each meal. A Meal and More's volunteer Board of Directors oversees general operations, staffing, volunteer coordination, publicity, fund raising, grant writing, and financial management.

The Wednesday volunteer shift runs from 10 am to 1:00 pm. The Sunday volunteer shift runs from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.

Setting tables, assisting with meal preparation, serving food, and helping with cleanup.
Volunteers 16-17 years old are welcome with an adult and a signed permission slip.

Our chef, Cordero, is now broadcasting mid-day during the week on FM station 97.1, WEPL which is a station owned by the Ibero American Action League as a service to the Rochester Latino community.
